13th Floor St James Hall would like to congratulate Simon Chapple on his appointment to Senior Counsel today.
Simon commenced practice at the NSW Bar on 1 October 2010. He has a general equity practice, with a focus on succession, real property, and protective law. Prior to coming to the Bar, Simon worked at Freehills in Sydney. He has lectured in contracts and real property at Western Sydney University and Sydney University, is a co-author of textbooks on equity and trusts and sale of land, and presents regularly at conferences.
Simon is a member of the Succession and Protective Law Committee and the Secretary of the Francis Forbes Society for Australian Legal History. Simon is also a Board Member of the B Miles Women’s Foundation, an organisation that helps women in inner Sydney to prevent or resolve homelessness through tailored support and access to safe, secure and affordable accommodation.
