Ruby was called to the Bar in September 2026. She accepts briefs in all areas of law, with a particular interest in succession and commercial disputes.

Before coming to the Bar, Ruby was an associate at Allens, where she practised as a solicitor in the commercial litigation and restructuring and insolvency teams. In 2022, Ruby was Tipstaff to the Succession List Judge in the Equity Division of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Honourable Justice P Hallen SC.

Ruby holds a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Macquarie University.
