James Sharpe was called to the Bar in September 2020. His practice centres predominately on insurance and commercial disputes.

Prior to coming to the Bar James worked for more than ten years as a solicitor. Admitted in 2009, James practised in Sydney and London, specialising in insurance litigation including public liability, building and construction and personal injury.

Since becoming a barrister, James’ practice has expanded to include work in wills and estates and James regularly appears in Courts and Tribunals throughout New South Wales.

James holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney.
