Justin Zeeman

Overview

Justin commenced practice at the Bar in 2013. He specialises in employment, industrial relations and discrimination law. He advises and appears in public and private sector matters, acting on behalf of employers, employees, unions and workplace regulators.

With chambers in both Hobart and Sydney Justin has developed a broad practice that includes workplace health and safety prosecutions, commissions of inquiry, inquests, administrative law and commercial litigation.

Justin graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tasmania in 1996 and a Master of Labour Relations Law from the University of Melbourne in 2004. He commenced practice as a solicitor in 1997 and was previously a partner in both a Tasmanian and a national legal firm. He taught Labour Law at the University of Tasmania and spent a number of years teaching Civil Procedure and Advocacy at the Tasmanian Legal Practice Course.

Justin is a former member of the Tasmanian Bar Council and continues to be involved in the Advocacy Unit of the Tasmanian Legal Practice Course.
