Daniel Yazdani commenced his readership at 13th Floor St James Hall in June 2022, having been admitted to the Bar in May of that year.
Prior to his admission to the Bar, from 2020 to April 2022, Daniel was Tipstaff (and, during most of 2021, Acting Associate) to the Hon. Justice Lindsay, who is the Protective List Judge and was for many years also the Probate List Judge, sitting in the Equity Division of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
Prior to his roles in the NSW Supreme Court, Daniel practised as a solicitor in Perth from 2015 to 2019.
Daniel has previously presented in Legalwise, STEP and Law Society of WA seminars. He has also written articles published in the Australian Bar Review, The Australian Law Journal and The Australian Property Law Journal and is a contributor to the 5th and 6th editions of the LexisNexis Concise Australian Legal Dictionary. Daniel has also authored The Habit of a Judge: A History of Court Dress in England & Wales, and Australia (Talbot Publishing/ Lawbook Exchange, 2019), with a foreword by the former Chief Justice of WA, the Hon. Wayne Martin AC, KC.
