Stuart Littlemore QC

New Stuart DPStuart Littlemore was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1992. He practises in common law, principally in defamation and specialised areas of criminal law. Appearing in all Australian states and territories, he is also admitted in the South Pacific [Papua New Guinea, Fiji and Vanuatu] where he has been involved in human rights litigation and Constitutional appeals and Commissions of Inquiry. He has served several periods on the Bar Council of NSW and was awarded Fellowships at several Australian universities.

From his background in journalism, film and television, Stuart Littlemore devised and presented the ABCTV program Media Watch for the first ten years of its existence, and has given expert evidence in matters involving journalistic standards. He is also the author of a number of books, including the Harry Curry series of novels. He was made an Officier of the Order of Merit by the President of France for services to Law and Journalism.
