Elisa Tringali was called to the New South Wales Bar in 2014.
Prior to this, Elisa was a litigation solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills, McCabes and Bartier Perry, specialising in commercial litigation and insurance litigation. She also worked for Corrs Chambers Westgarth (in the Planning and Environmental Practice Group) being seconded as a Legal Policy Officer for the New South Wales Roads and Maritime Services and briefly as a paralegal. Elisa’s professional experience in litigation spans 15 years.
Elisa appears and advises in a broad range of disputes including commercial, planning and environmental, public law (including administrative law) as well as health and clinical negligence matters. She has appeared in all major courts and tribunals in New South Wales as well as the Medical Council of New South Wales, the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and the Court of Criminal Appeal. Elisa holds a Master of Law and Legal Practice degree from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Medical Science degree from the University of Sydney.
She accepts direct briefs from in-house legal counsel and briefs involving interstate and overseas travel.
